Melbras is a benchmark in the market by virtue of its internationally recognized product. Tons of its honey are exported to the four corners of the globe, with a large part of it being shipped to Europe, the United States, Canada, and Asia. Winning over new markets puts us in the front line of responsibility by offering a high quality product, in addition to contributing to the socioeconomic development of our country, proud of being able to benefit more than 800 families of beekeepers throughout Brazil.

The production process meets the quality standards of both national and international markets. It follows GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) procedures, standards aimed at the production of food under hygienic-sanitary conditions; PPHO (Standard Operational Hygiene Procedures), which avoid direct or cross-contamination and adulteration of food; and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), which control the production steps, enabling the prevention, elimination, or reduction of hazards during processing.
Internal quality control is ensured by the careful selection of raw material, sourced from duly registered, trained, qualified, and monitored suppliers. That way, Melbras guarantees product traceability at any stage of processing.
As part of its commitment to the quality of its product, Melbras performs analyses on all raw materials and finished products in its own laboratory to ensure compliance with the Ministry of Agriculture’s standards and requirements.
